Registered users of this app will have the opportunity to access conferences and institutes hosted by Region 4 and the Alameda County Office of Education.

These include:

1. ACT: Action Changes Things! Conference for Educators - This conference brings together the expertise of NorCal Safe & Healthy Schools and Bridging the Bay conferences, presenting a comprehensive experience built on their combined 35 years of knowledge. The theme, "A.C.T.: Action Changes Things!", addresses a wide array of health and wellness topics such as mental health, vaping, cannabis, and human trafficking through workshops and keynotes.
2. ACT: Action Changes Things! Conferences for Middle and High School Students - Formerly known as the "Teens Tackle Tobacco, Health and Wellness Conferences," this event gathers thousands of students from across the San Francisco Bay Area. Through workshops and dialogues, students explore concepts of health, wellness, and the power of their voices and actions in driving change.
3. The Alameda County Community Exemplary Schools for Success (ACCESS) virtual institute - Scheduled for August, this institute unites innovative workshop presenters dedicated to crafting and executing a Community School model. Emphasizing four key pillars: Family & Community Engagement, Expanded Learning, Collaborative Leadership, and Integrated Support Services, this session will incorporate design principles focused on cultural responsiveness, equity, holistic child development, collaboration, inclusivity, and social justice. Participants from school-day programs, community partnerships, and expanded learning initiatives are encouraged to join this initiative.

We extend an invitation to individuals to partake in illuminating discussions surrounding educational equity, social justice, social & emotional learning practices, restorative justice principles, and initiatives against institutional racism. Through engaging keynotes, workshops, and dialogue sessions, the aim is to break down barriers, foster meaningful dialogues, and incite lasting transformation through empowerment.

The primary objective of each event is to engage, inspire, challenge, and educate participants. Attendees will depart with practical tools and insights aimed at self-improvement and enhancing their professional endeavors - because indeed "ACTION CHANGES THINGS!"
